Kasun Vishvajith Vithanage

I am a Computer Science undergraduate specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning, with hands-on experience building end-to-end data driven solutions. My work focuses on transforming raw, unstructured data into meaningful insights and predictive systems that solve real-world problems. I have developed multiple machine learning projects, including predictive models, time series forecasting systems, and data analysis pipelines. Through these, I have gained strong experience in Python, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. I am particularly interested in moving beyond analysis to building production oriented systems, including APIs, data pipelines, and AI powered applications. Recently, I have been expanding my focus toward applied AI, including working with real world datasets, exploring LLM based workflows, and building systems that can operate reliably in practical environments. I enjoy tackling messy data problems, identifying patterns, and translating them into actionable solutions. I am currently seeking remote internship opportunities in Data Science or AI/ML Engineering where I can contribute to real products, work on impactful problems, and continue developing my skills in building scalable, intelligent systems. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am always eager to learn, experiment, and deliver meaningful results.
