Karen DeLano

With 46 years of experience in public education—including roles as a teacher, professor, school principal, and school system superintendent/CEO—I bring a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, communication, and professional mentoring. Following my retirement from public education, I began consulting with organizations to provide strategic planning and leadership training. Most recently, I have enjoyed mentoring first-year school principals, helping them navigate the challenges of leadership and develop the skills necessary for success. At this stage of my career, I am excited to explore new professional experiences where I can apply my knowledge, communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others. I am particularly interested in opportunities such as serving as a virtual adjunct college professor, working remotely, providing customer service, or contributing my skills in content editing and related areas. I am eager to bring my experience, professionalism, and strong work ethic to an organization where I can continue to contribute, learn, and make a meaningful difference.
