Web platform for a real-world business, developed end-to-end—spanning everything from the backend and database to deployment and security. Designed, developed, and continuously operated a production web platform for a food business, built from scratch and evolved through new features, maintenance, and technical improvements. Backend built with Django 5.2 LTS and PostgreSQL, organized by domain (catalog, reviews, scheduling, and core). Implemented availability APIs, an administrable catalog, and an internal calendar for production, deliveries, pickups, and scheduling blocks. Developed availability logic featuring time windows and conflict detection. Implemented rate limiting, upload validation, secret management, and security headers. Deployed using Infrastructure as Code (render.yaml), PostgreSQL, Cloudflare R2, and automated backups. Implemented tests, health checks, and post-deployment smoke tests, alongside technical documentation and restoration procedures. Maintain and evolve the platform based on business needs.
