I am an experienced accounting and finance professional with a background in group accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, taxation, SARS compliance, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation. I am currently working as a Group Accountant, managing financial and administrative functions across multiple companies, including payroll for five companies, VAT and PAYE submissions, reconciliations, supplier payments, and month-end and year-end processes. I am also a SARS-registered tax practitioner and Certified Tax Practitioner, with a strong focus on accuracy, problem-solving, and helping businesses remain financially organised and compliant. I have been building my experience in accounting and finance since 2014, giving me over 12 years of experience across accounting, administration, payroll, and business management. Throughout my career, I have worked in both accounting practices and corporate environments, as well as managing my own business. Two achievements I am particularly proud of are managing the full accounting and payroll responsibilities across multiple companies within a group, ensuring that financial processes, reconciliations, and statutory submissions are handled efficiently; and successfully managing my own business for almost six years, overseeing finances, payroll, production, suppliers, customers, and a nationwide network of agents. These experiences have strengthened my ability to take ownership, work independently, solve problems, and manage competing priorities. For my next role, I am looking for a remote position in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, payroll, or tax compliance where I can contribute my practical experience, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
