I'm a finance professional focused on Brazilian credit markets, currently interning in the controllership/middle office team at Polígono Capital, a structured credit asset manager in São Paulo that runs FIDCs and NPL portfolios. I'm also an Economics student at IBMEC São Paulo, graduating in 2028. My experience comes from two credit-focused internships. At Polígono, I work on portfolio rollover and migration, accrual and stop-accrual analysis, and rating bucket changes, querying the firm's data lake with SQL. Before that, at NPL Brasil, I supported the finance team working with distressed debt portfolios. Two things I'm proud of: - At NPL Brasil, I built a credit scoring model that supported the pricing team, plus process automations and BI dashboards for debt portfolio tracking. I also guided a group of summer interns on automation and portfolio management projects. - I built Brazil Mid-Market Deals Radar, an open-source project that uses Brazilian Central Bank credit data (SCR) to screen delinquency and credit stress across industry sectors. My edge is pairing solid finance fundamentals with Python, SQL, Power BI and advanced Excel to make analysis faster and more reliable. Next, I'm looking for a remote internship or entry-level role in credit, risk, FP&A or fund controllership, ideally at a fintech, asset manager or credit platform. Native Portuguese, fluent English, intermediate Spanish and French.
