Chemistry-Trained Librarian | 15+ Years Leading Research Platform Adoption, Training & System Migrations
Seeking: Implementation Specialist
I'm an academic librarian and STEM subject specialist with over fifteen years of experience supporting research communities in the physical sciences, most recently as Associate University Librarian for Research and Engagement at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. My work sits at the intersection of scientific training and technology adoption, understanding how researchers actually work, then leading them through a platform rollout, a system migration, or hands-on training. Two things I'm proud of: I led the training program that brought researchers across Arizona State University onto a new campus-wide electronic research notebook platform, and I directed ASU's full migration from Web of Science to Scopus, managing timelines and stakeholder engagement across every college at the university. I've also written and published research on how electronic research notebooks actually get adopted in practice, with a second study currently under review. I'm looking for a remote implementation, customer success, or solutions delivery role where I can bring that same combination, scientific fluency and hands-on platform rollout experience, to a company building tools for research and scientific teams.
