I'm a full-time tutor, working both in person and online with students. I do have teaching experience in public schools, but I find I can be more effective working one-on-one or with smaller groups. I am currently also learning Full-stack web design and Linux System administration, but I am very knowledgeable in IT and, more specifically, Personal Computing, or personal devices. I have many years of informal support experience, and I have the patience to deal with clients who are perhaps not tech literate enough to figure out their issue by themselves. I am very open-minded and looking at a career change, out of tuition, that is. Furthermore, I am a lifelong learner, and I enjoy problem-solving. I have a broad range of interests, and I am always keen to learn more. I am open to new experiences, and I can hyper-fixate on new topics to learn quickly. I do ask many questions in the beginning and communicate very assertively so as to ensure misunderstandings do not occur. Once I know what I am doing, I work well without supervision. I have a full desktop with a microphone, two monitors, and a webcam at home, running a Linux distribution, of course. Should Windows be a requirement, I can make a plan. In addition to English, I also speak Afrikaans, which is close to Dutch. Thanks for reading.
