Corporate Actions Specialist
I have vast experience in corporate actions, operations, risk management and business analysis. I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience across transfer secretarial operations, share registry environments and central securities depository operations, with a proven record of delivering accurate, compliant and time-sensitive corporate actions services. In my current role as Senior Corporate Actions Specialist, I oversee end-to-end corporate actions activities across different asset classes. This includes monitoring SENS announcements, reviewing circulars, checking captured events, releasing SWIFT messages, communicating events to subscribers, supporting dual-listed company events and liaising with Euroclear Bank on corporate actions events for dual listed companies on CSD-to-CSD link. I also resolve complex queries and work closely with exchanges, issuers, CSDPs, sponsors, subscribers, issuer agents and other market stakeholders. My key achievements include leading corporate actions departments, strengthening risk controls and procedures, supporting compliance with Strate rules and market directives, managing shareholder elections and CSDP instructions, maintaining daily bank account balancing controls, and contributing to automation, system enhancements, testing, training, change management and contingency planning. I also offer strong business analysis and process improvement capability, including requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, FAQs, training manuals, project support, system testing and workflow improvement. My background includes leadership, staff supervision, workflow allocation, stakeholder engagement and service delivery management. I am well suited to remote roles that require accuracy, confidentiality, independent judgement, stakeholder communication and disciplined delivery. I am confident that my experience and expertise would allow me to contribute effectively to a dependable, high performing organisation.
