I build mobile products and the backend systems behind them — usually inside early-stage startups, where shipping something that actually works matters as much as writing clean code. My core stack is React Native/Expo on the frontend and Node.js/NestJS with PostgreSQL and Supabase on the backend. Most of my work has been in fintech and marketplace products: I've owned payment integrations end-to-end (Stripe Connect onboarding, payouts, transaction tracking), built a booking-and-escrow workflow for a service marketplace from scratch, and made vendor/architecture decisions that had a direct cost or delivery impact — like cutting KYC verification costs by choosing the right provider, or shipping 70% of an MVP's core functionality in three months. I came into software from an unusual angle — I was still finishing a mechanical engineering degree when I started building production software professionally, and the engineering discipline from that background carried over. I've also picked up production infrastructure exposure (Kubernetes, observability tooling) along the way, mostly by working through unfamiliar systems hands-on and knowing how to find and apply the right documentation and tools quickly rather than treating that as a settled specialty. Right now I'm looking to go deeper on the mobile + backend + production side — working with teams building real products, where I can keep owning things end to end rather than just implementing tickets.
