Jeff Girton

I’m passionate about helping people achieve their goals. For 16+ years in higher education, I’ve served as an advisor, retention specialist, and lecturer, using a strengths-based approach to coach students through challenges and toward meaningful success. I translate complexity into practical action—building individualized plans that turn obstacles into sustainable progress through empathy, clarity, and accountability. In addition to my work in education, I serve as an elected City Councilor and Chair of the Finance Committee. I collaborate with residents to address civic challenges through thoughtful policy and responsible budgeting. Committed to transparency and ethical stewardship, I work to ensure citizens understand how their tax dollars are invested and can trust in a government that prioritizes sustainable growth and community well-being.
