I've spent the last 6+ years helping ecommerce brands grow, mainly through SEO, Shopify, paid ads, and lately AI search (getting brands mentioned inside ChatGPT and Perplexity, not just Google). I've worked with clients and teams in the US, UK, UAE, and Australia the whole time, so different time zones are just normal for me at this point. In my current role as Head of Growth for a luxury watch brand, I helped bring in about ₹4.8 Cr in India and $343K internationally. I handled the SEO, ran the Google and Meta ads, and worked on both our Shopify stores. Before this, I worked at an agency managing SEO and ads for 8+ D2C brands at once, talking directly to founders and marketing leads about strategy and results. That's also where I started getting really into AI search, getting brands actually cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity when people ask for recommendations. Most people are still figuring this out, I've already been doing it for two years. I also build in Shopify (Liquid), handle reporting in GA4 and Looker Studio, and use Claude a lot in my day to day work, for content, analysis, basically automating anything repetitive. Right now I'm looking for a Head of Growth, Head of eCommerce, or senior marketing role, open to full-time or contract, ideally somewhere that actually cares about AI search as a real growth channel and not just a buzzword.
