Iara Brezeguello

I’m a senior visual researcher with extensive experience in editorial image research, photography sourcing, archival research, rights clearance and licensing for major Brazilian publications. I currently work at VEJA Magazine and previously spent many years at EXAME, supporting weekly editorial production as well as major special projects and publications. Throughout my career, I have built a broad international network of image sources and worked directly with leading agencies, photographers, archives, museums and institutions to locate strong, accurate and often hard-to-find visual material. I also have extensive experience negotiating image rights, licensing terms and usage permissions, while balancing editorial quality, deadlines and budget constraints. I have coordinated visual research teams and handled complex assignments ranging from breaking news and historical research to business, politics, science, culture and special editorial projects. I’m looking for remote opportunities in visual research, photo research, archival research, image sourcing, content research or related roles where strong editorial judgment, research skills and rights-management experience are valued.
