Platform Engineer focused on building, stabilizing, and improving infrastructure systems across hybrid environments (AWS and on-prem). I work in production every day and take ownership of systems that need to be reliable, secure, and usable by others—not just functional. I’ve designed and operated critical infrastructure including secure FTPS platforms, enterprise email systems, SSL/TLS lifecycle management, and large-scale patching processes. My work consistently centers on reducing operational risk, eliminating fragile processes, and turning complex systems into something repeatable and supportable across teams. In my current role, I own Linux patching across environments using SaltStack and SUSE Manager, implement Terraform-based workflows for EC2 patching with golden AMIs, and serve as the SME for both SSL/TLS and FTPS platforms. I also lead security remediation efforts based on Wiz findings and maintain AWS infrastructure, DNS, and certificate validation across hybrid systems. A core part of my work is enablement: I write the documentation, define the processes, and mentor engineers so systems don’t depend on a single person to function. I build things so they continue to run well even when I’m not in the room. I’m currently expanding further into automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted workflows to improve how infrastructure is managed and supported at scale.
