Hafeez Raji

I'm a UX and product design leader. I run design for complex enterprise products — analytics platforms, omni-channel workflows, and AI assistants built into enterprise software — and I build the design systems, research practice, and team underneath them while staying hands-on in the work. I've spent about a decade in product design, with 10 years leading teams. As UX Director at ADP I led a team of eight designers at peak and owned design strategy across analytics, mobile, and omni-channel, partnering directly with product and engineering leadership. Since mid-2024 I've worked independently, including building House of Verdure, a DTC brand where I own the identity, the design system, and the commerce experience end to end. Two things I'm proud of. First, I led the redesign of ADP's enterprise analytics platform; client churn dropped 65% because the work targeted the workflow failures that were driving customers out rather than the surface. Second, I shipped Analytics Assist, ADP's first generative-AI conversational analytics interface. I defined the interaction model that lets non-technical users query their workforce data in plain language, and drove it from concept to shipped product. Next, I'm looking for a Head of Design, Director of Product Design, or UX Director role at a product-led company — remote, US-based, and I'm in the New York area on Eastern time. I want a player-coach seat: accountable for the design org, close enough to the craft to raise the bar on it, reporting to a CEO or CPO who treats design as a strategic function. Strongest fit is enterprise or prosumer SaaS with real complexity — data, workflows, AI — where design quality is a competitive advantage.
