Flavio Amayo

I am an early-career Applied AI and Machine Learning Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI), Peru. I build Python-based AI, data and automation solutions. My hands-on experience includes IoT data pipelines, time-series analysis and clustering, FastAPI-based backend systems, explainable rule-based AI, document information extraction and business analytics. My public GitHub portfolio includes reproducible projects with automated testing and technical documentation. My technical background includes Python, Machine Learning, FastAPI, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, Pytest, IoT, time series, Power BI, AWS, Microsoft Azure AI Agents, Generative AI and MLOps fundamentals. I am also a RENACYT Level VII researcher in Peru, with scientific publications related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, cloud computing and precision agriculture. I am currently looking for junior or entry-level remote opportunities in Applied AI, Machine Learning Engineering, AI Automation or Data Science where I can combine software development, data and artificial intelligence.
