I'm a cloud and infrastructure engineer who builds and runs AWS serverless systems; and I can also architect and design systems whether they're on the cloud or on-premises. I have 20+ years, across enterprise IT, networking, information security, and cloud development (full-stack). Two things I'm proud of: - At Amazon, I led deployments of 2–3 dozen corporate offices and customer service centers, each serving 500+ users, in 22 countries plus Hong Kong. Along the way, I built a Ruby on Rails tool that generated hardware orders and network configs from a few inputs, cutting deployment planning time and errors by 90%. - At AWS, I replaced a legacy single-server data export system with a serverless platform (Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Athena, SQS/SNS) with tiered approvals and full audit tracking, cutting sensitive data exposure by 50%. Before that, I spent five years as the on-site tech lead for 50+ live MTV/Viacom shows, including the VMAs and Comic-Con. Right now I'm building TravelBytesAI, an AI trip planner on Amazon Bedrock with a serverless backend in beta. I hold an MS in Information Security, and I'm used to working async with teammates spread across time zones, from coordinating remote office builds in Asia, Europe, and Latin America to co-leading design reviews with a peer engineer in Europe. Next, I want a fully remote Cloud, DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role on a team that ships on AWS: owning infrastructure, automating the repetitive work, and keeping production reliable. I'm a US citizen based in the Pacific time zone and comfortable overlapping with the Americas, Europe, or Asia.
