What do I do? Basically, I’m a sort of ‘sidekick of all trades’ when it comes to running creative and scaling businesses (especially agencies). What I’m good at is creating clarity from chaos - putting structure and system to existing workflows, finding efficiencies and, in some cases, making the boring bits satisfying (maybe even fun?). Here are some of the things I’ve done before: - Designed a recruitment flow (including building an applicant tracking system), and then trained an offshore employee to run it. - Re-designed an onboarding process so that a new starter said to me ‘no notes - this was the best onboarding I’ve ever had’ - Wrangled a tense client relationship (on the brink of disaster) well enough that a Creative Director later told me I’d not only gotten the project back on rails but had somehow managed to make it fun - Organised completion of police background checks for a workforce of approximately 2000 employees, taking a messy chaotic inbox of completion emails and producing an accurate spreadsheet to track completion along with reporting to each unit manager so they could track completion within their teams. - Transitioned a somewhat reluctant team of 12+ creatives from Adobe InDesign to Figma with minimal complaints. - Project managed a summer campaign for an ice cream company, including producing a video and photoshoot during the height of Covid (a true nightmare). - Lead traffic management for a remote design agency of approx. 20 people. - Collaborated with an HR lawyer to rework an Australian employment contract and create a New Zealand version. - Designed a system for ‘goal based days’ in which employees could work asynchronously, assigning themselves a days worth of work and logging off when this was completed.
