As an unarmed security guard of 10 years at the same local company, I was entrusted with many different sites and projects going on in and around town. Frequently doing overtime hours to help with the growing clients' needs, I would oversee the general security and safety of many employees, contractors, and subcontractors at any given time, day or night. The duties, which included patrolling perimeters, report any safety issues or work related hazards to the proper authority and through the right channels are few of the most imperative tasks to be executed in a timely manner. Disputes between parties, discrepancies in general direction(s) given to a growing crowd of people, and mediating between law enforcement and the general public and patrons during high energy events with many moving parts was handled by us in the security team, as a team, in order to operate in a safe environment during events such as sporting events at the University of Arizona, wedding and quinceañeras, casinos, escort jobs, private security of clients' home(s), construction sites small and large, and even public and private schools, protecting life and property, along with hundreds of thousands and even up to millions of dollars worth of merchandise, goods, proprietary company information and sensitive documents, and more. Crowd management and security detail were a daily chore. Building client relationships were at the forefront of not only the company's mission statement and ethos, but also in my mind in this, like in many other, jobs that I have held through the years in my life. Customer Service outlines my every career move and my personality since I was fifteen and a half years of age, startinf at a fast food restaurant of delicious submarine style sandwiches (Charley's Grilled Subs) to the call center at CoWorx, piloting a chat pilot program for AT&T in the e-commerce sector of the field. Resolving customer inquiries and managing issues as they arise are my forte favorite thing to do.
