CPA and MBA finance executive with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, audit, and financial leadership, now seeking remote Controller, Finance Director, and CFO roles. For the past eight years I have worked as a Fractional CFO for healthcare, manufacturing, food and beverage, and construction clients. I run the books, build controls, manage cash flow and bank relationships, and prepare organizations for year-end audits. Three of my clients received clean audit opinions under my lead, and automated accounting workflows I built cut manual close work by about 35%. Before consulting, I was Vice President for Finance at Vallacar Transit, a multi-branch, multi-entity group with $400M to $500M+ in annual revenue. I led the monthly and annual close, tax filings, external audits, and the budgets and capital models presented to the CEO and Board. I also led a group-wide migration to Microsoft Dynamics AX that cut the month-end close by 25 days. Earlier in my career I spent six years as Internal Audit Manager, so I look at controls the way an auditor does. I am hands-on with QuickBooks, Xero (Level 1 and Level 2 certified), advanced Excel, and enterprise ERP systems, and I hold the FMVA® and CFMP® certifications. Based in Bacolod City, Philippines, I am available to work US hours and I work well with owners, boards, and remote teams.
