I’m a Python backend / AI software engineer with 3.5 years of experience building 0-to-1 MVPs, prototypes, data tools, and applied AI/LLM systems for startup clients across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. My strongest work is turning ambiguous requirements into working backends: FastAPI services, LLM workflows, RAG/document search, vector DB integrations, SQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB data flows, API integrations, and deployments on AWS/GCP. At Zackriya Solutions, I worked on projects including a speech assessment backend using Whisper and Microsoft Pronunciation APIs, a natural-language-to-SQL real estate search system, document ingestion and vector search over 1000+ files using Qdrant, MQTT-to-MongoDB live data handlers for an IoT startup, PDF report generation APIs, and internal GenAI prototypes. I’ve also fine-tuned and hosted a Mistral 7B model using vLLM/GKE and contributed to open-source AI tooling. I’m looking for remote backend, AI engineer, ML engineering, or MLOps-adjacent roles where I can build useful systems, work closely with a small technical team, and grow deeper in LLM infrastructure, retrieval quality, model serving, distributed systems, and production reliability. I work best in async-first teams with clear written communication, ownership, and room to solve practical engineering problems end-to-end.
