Diogo Ferreira

Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Coimbra, with experience in social services management, human resources, and translation. Over nearly 6 years at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Oliveira de Azeméis, I directed a Home Care Service (SAD) — managing teams, supporting service users and their families, handling documentation, and liaising with Social Security. Prior to that, I worked in recruitment and selection, including a placement at Randstad Portugal. Alongside this, I provide freelance services in EN→PT translation, adaptation and revision of Brazilian Portuguese into European Portuguese, and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE). I am currently seeking part-time or full-time opportunities in the social, educational, or human resources sectors — ideally on a contract basis — while remaining available for freelance translation and MTPE projects.
