Degu Melaku

Since March 2015, I have been serving at Bahir Dar University as an Assistant Researcher, Lecturer, Education Quality Officer, and Director of the Textile Production Research and Innovation Center. My responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student research, conducting multidisciplinary research in biomaterials and textile engineering, publishing scientific articles, leading research and innovation projects, promoting university–industry collaboration, and ensuring academic quality and continuous improvement. I also provide strategic leadership for research center operations, resource mobilization, curriculum development, and technology transfer initiatives, contributing to the university's academic excellence and innovation goals.
