I'm a QA & Test Automation Engineer with 1+ year of software testing and automation experience and 6+ years of total professional experience validating mission-critical systems — most recently Smart Metering Data Management platforms used at scale by utility providers. My job is simple to say and hard to do well: make sure software works exactly as promised, every time, under every condition. What I bring to a team: 🔹 Built and maintained a Selenium + Python automation framework covering critical regression suites, cutting manual regression effort significantly for each release cycle 🔹 Validated REST APIs end-to-end using Postman, paired with backend SQL verification to catch data-integrity issues before they reached production 🔹 Executed functional, regression, integration, and system testing across the full smart-meter lifecycle — installation, remote connect/disconnect, prepaid recharge 🔹 Managed defect lifecycle in Jira within an Agile/Scrum team, keeping high-priority bugs closed fast and releases on schedule Before QA, I spent time in electrical/instrumentation engineering and R&D (circuit design, PCB layout) — a background that makes me unusually comfortable with hardware-adjacent software, like IoT and smart-metering systems, where most testers have no context. I care about quality that's provable, not assumed. That means clear test documentation, repeatable automation, and defect reports engineers can act on without a follow-up meeting. Currently exploring new QA Automation / SDET opportunities where I can own test strategy end-to-end.
