David Ruiz Urraca

I'm a software engineer with around 10 years of experience building Android apps in production, from the Java era through to modern Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Clean Architecture with MVVM and Kotlin Flow. I've shipped and maintained real products end-to-end, owning features from architecture decisions to release. I'm now focused on Product Development / Product Builder roles. AI has changed how I work: it lets me move faster, span more of the stack, and think less like a single-platform specialist and more like someone who owns outcomes. Alongside native Android, I build cross-platform apps with Flutter (BLoC) and I'm expanding into Kotlin Multiplatform. What I bring is solid engineering judgment plus a product mindset, I care about why a feature exists, not just how it's built. I work well in async, remote-first teams and enjoy taking an idea from rough concept to a polished, working product. Open to remote roles, based in Spain (Remote).
