I’m a management consultant and public-systems professional who helps organizations make sense of complicated work and get it across the finish line. Through Sound Foundations LLC, I provide short-term, project-based advisory support when an organization already has the pieces but needs an experienced second set of eyes. Projects may include reviewing and strengthening an existing grant proposal or application; responding to funder or reviewer feedback; researching and synthesizing information; improving reports, narratives, presentations, or board materials; assessing a program or process; developing or refining workflows and SOPs; evaluating outcomes and performance measures; or organizing fragmented information into practical recommendations and next steps. My background spans public health, federally funded programs, behavioral-health evaluation, applied research, program implementation, performance measurement, federal reporting, process improvement, and organizational systems. I’m comfortable interpreting complex requirements, spotting gaps and inconsistencies, and translating technical or programmatic information for funders, leadership, boards, partners, and other stakeholders. I’m especially interested in defined, short-turnaround assignments where you don’t need another permanent staff member—you need an experienced person to come in, understand the problem, finish the work, and hand it back.
