Translator
I am an environmental engineer with a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering. I have dedicated ten years to study English and subsequently worked as a freelance translator of environmental education materials (Portuguese–English). I also dedicated myself in the learning of other languages (French and German). Subsequently, I worked as a nursery specialist in the Amazon, handling seedling management, soil preparation, and the planting of native species, as well as organizing and managing a multilingual team. An experience that equipped me with efficient communication skills, the ability to rapidly process information in different languages, and the know-how to work in a team on planting initiatives within the Amazon biome. During a stint in the Cerrado, I took a nursery management course at UnB Cerrado and participated in the management and planting of native species, developing planting techniques for a new biome. I currently work remotely as a volunteer translator (Portuguese–Spanish) for a team dedicated to defending environmental rights, performing simultaneous translations via Zoom. This allows me to stay in constant contact with other languages and cultures, constantly improving my skills
