I’m a CPA with experience in tax accounting, financial analysis, and forensic accounting/litigation support. I have over three years of professional accounting experience, beginning in public accounting at Baker Tilly, where I progressed from Tax Intern to Tax Staff to Tax Senior, and continuing into forensic accounting at Gursey Schneider. My tax experience includes preparing and reviewing federal and state returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and privately held businesses; analyzing financial statements and general ledgers; preparing book-to-tax adjustments; performing account reconciliations; and researching complex tax matters. In my current forensic accounting work, I analyze tax returns, K-1s, financial statements, general ledgers, bank and credit card activity, and complex business ownership structures in connection with litigation and high-net-worth financial matters. For my next opportunity, I’m seeking a remote accounting role that further develops my tax background with financial analysis, where I can apply my CPA experience, analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and technology while continuing to develop professionally.
