Brandy Blackwood

Experienced Title Insurance professional with more than 20 years of industry experience, including extensive title examination, title research, title production, and management of title support staff. My background includes reviewing public records, deeds, liens, judgments, easements, and other recorded documents to determine ownership, identify parties of interest, and uncover potential title issues. Much of my title examination experience was gained in Washington State, where I developed a strong understanding of chain of title, legal descriptions, recorded documents, and detailed property research. I have also managed and trained title support staff, monitored workflow and quality, and helped ensure files were completed accurately and within production deadlines. I am highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and experienced in managing a high volume of files in deadline-driven environments. I am particularly interested in remote title abstracting, title examination, title research, quality review, and project-based title work where I can apply my experience while learning additional state-specific requirements and systems.
