Financial Analyst | CFA Level I | Investment Research & Financial Modeling
Seeking: Financial Analyst · Investment Analyst · Financial Research Analyst · Financial Operations Analyst
I'm a final-year finance student who has passed CFA Level I, and most of what I do comes down to one thing: taking a large or messy body of information and working out what actually holds up. Benchmarking thirty-odd funds against a client's stated risk profile rather than their headline returns, qualifying cluttered prospect lists down to the few genuinely worth pursuing, checking a venture's claims against its primary data before anything gets written. I would rather source a number than assert it, and I flag what I can't verify rather than paper over it. The hands-on work has come through two internships and a published research project over the past year, alongside my degree. Two things I'm confident stood up. At Cube, a founder's office role, I used prospect and deliverability data to sharpen targeting enough to take daily demo bookings from one or two up to four while cutting outreach from around 1,200 emails a day to 200–300, and when a repetitive multi-tool process was eating time, I built a browser tool to consolidate it that saved roughly 27 hours a week. Separately, I sourced and co-authored a published feature on a carbon-negative building material, verifying its headline claims against the company's own data before it ran in two regional dailies. I'm early in my career and don't pretend otherwise. What I want next is remote research-and-evaluation work where the reasoning behind a call matters as much as the call itself, somewhere I can own a question end to end, get honest feedback, and hold a consistent standard across a run of separate judgements without letting them blur. I'm set up to work remotely and across time zones.
