I'm a backend engineer with 4.5 years of experience, mostly in Go, working on high-scale, low-latency systems. Most recently at Suki AI (an AI clinical scribe), I owned a cross-team reconnection redesign across 5 backend services that cut offline session errors from 8–10% to under 2%, brought p50 session-start latency from 800ms down to 500ms, and re-architected a real-time C++ event service in Go — rolled out to 100% of traffic with zero downtime. I was promoted to Backend Engineer III in Sep 2025. Before that, at FinMechanics, I built Kafka pipelines streaming live FX market data to banks' pricing and risk systems. I'm looking for a remote backend role at the SDE 2 / senior level where I can own distributed systems end to end. Day to day I work with Go, gRPC, Kafka, Kubernetes, and GCP. I'm based in Bengaluru (IST) and happy to overlap with US or EU hours.
