I've been doing QA for 5+ years now, mostly testing production apps for US clients — everything from a garment management system to a healthcare platform to a pet messaging app. I'm ISTQB certified and have an MCA, but honestly the more useful thing is that I've caught a lot of bugs across a lot of different kinds of software. I work with Python, Playwright, and Selenium to automate testing on live projects I already know inside out from manual testing — which helps, because I know exactly where these apps tend to break and why, so I'm not automating blind. I also use Claude and ChatGPT daily for test case generation, comparing UI against design specs, and writing up bugs faster not as a gimmick, just because it makes me faster at my actual job. Looking for a remote QA Automation role where I can keep building out real automation frameworks, ideally somewhere that values people who understand both the testing craft and the engineering side of it.
