I'm a frontend engineer who has naturally evolved into a product-minded builder over the course of my career. While I've spent most of my time on engineering teams the work I enjoy most happens well beyond technical implementation. I enjoy cross-collaborating with the design and product teams to find real insight and turning those insights into product features that people genuinely find useful and help them get things done. Throughout my career I've gradually taken on responsibilities that extended beyond engineering. I've worked closely with designers to refine user experiences, collaborated with product teams to define requirements, proposed new features based on customer feedback, and often found myself acting as the bridge between technical implementation and product direction. Some of the projects I'm most proud of weren't simply assigned to me directly, they began because I identified an opportunity to improve the product, built prototypes, gathered buy-in from stakeholders and worked collaboratively with other engineers to bring the idea into production. That kind of environment that allows for ownership and cross-functional collaboration is exactly the kind of team where I do my best work.
