Amara Kada

I’m a full-stack software engineer based in Batna, Algeria, with 2+ years of hands-on experience building production web apps. I work primarily with Python and TypeScript, using Next.js, React, FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Nginx. I specialize in real-time features, AI-powered workflows, and reliable backend systems. For the past 8 months, I worked remotely for an Austrian startup on a public consumer product and a B2B football recruitment marketplace. I built role-based workflows for players, agents, clubs, and admins; added real-time messaging and notifications with Socket.IO; ran background jobs with Celery, Celery Beat, and Redis; integrated DocuSeal e-signatures; and added pytest/Playwright coverage plus Sentry observability. Earlier, I extended a live Next.js/Firebase sports voting platform with optimistic vote updates, leaderboards, Stripe paid boosts, and SEO-focused ranking pages. Two achievements I’m proud of: Ranked 1st out of 191 students in my Computer Science cohort at the University of Batna 2 (ISIL), with a 16.99/20 average and no redoublement. Built Firenal, an AI-assisted YouTube thumbnail studio, end-to-end: FastAPI + Celery + Redis backend, AI generation APIs, Next.js frontend, Supabase persistence, Polar subscriptions, and Docker/Nginx deployment on DigitalOcean.
