In my role as Inventory Planner at Prestige Quality Housewares, I have managed stock forecasting, safety stock calculations, and order scheduling across three companies simultaneously. I initiated and helped develop a custom planning software solution with an external development team, replacing manual Excel-based processes with automated forecasting models — reducing errors and improving order accuracy significantly. I also manage reporting across major retail portals including PnP and SPAR Accelerate, and serve as assistant to the Chief Procurement Officer. Prior to this, at Doors Galore, I held a broad cross-functional role covering inventory control, systems administration, marketing design, warehouse management, and personal assistance to the General Manager. This experience taught me to work efficiently across disciplines, manage competing priorities, and deliver results without close supervision. I hold a BTEC HND in Business Management and Administration from Heriot-Watt University, as well as a Basics of Financial Management diploma from the University of Cape Town. I am proficient in Syspro 8, Sage One, Netstock, Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), and several ERP and reporting platforms. Based in South Africa (GMT+2), I am well-positioned to support teams in the UK, Europe, or the US, and I am experienced in asynchronous communication, remote collaboration tools, and self-directed work.
