I am a Civil Engineer and construction estimator with over 7 years' experience conducting site surveys, producing take-offs from drawings and specifications, and compiling estimates and tenders for construction, energy, infrastructure, access and maintenance projects across the UK. I am currently an Estimator at Kilnbridge, pricing RC frame, groundworks, civils and structural repair projects. Previously at Neary Construction I prepared cost estimates and tender submissions for energy and infrastructure schemes including substations, BESS, solar farms and power plants, covering HV cabling, drainage, utilities, RC foundations and earthworks. I have also estimated highways and bridge works on projects of up to £5m+ at Route One Infrastructure, and held responsibility on £1m+ projects such as the Thames Illuminated River project at CAN Structures. Key achievements: delivering multiple concurrent tenders to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance, and establishing pre-construction procedures, risk assessments and method statements for clients such as FM Conway, resulting in zero workplace accidents. I hold an MSc in Project Management (Sheffield Hallam) and a BSc in Civil Engineering (University of Derby), and I am proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office. I also have remote experience as an AI Training Contributor at Mercor, building construction estimating scenarios and rubrics to train AI models. I am looking for a remote estimating, pre-construction or AI training role where I can apply my take-off, pricing and tendering expertise.
