I'm a self taught full-stack developer working primarily with JavaScript, React, and Node.js. I've been building for about a year and a half, trained through The Odin Project's project based curriculum rather than a traditional degree. Two things I'm proud of: I've shipped and deployed more than 20 applications on my own, including full-stack projects like a messaging platform with JWT authentication and HerbTrack, an inventory management system with role-based access control. I also built a job application tracker in TypeScript that I use daily to manage my own search, which pushed me to properly learn TypeScript by building something I'd actually use instead of just creating a throwaway app for the sake of building it. Before development, I spent 5+ years in client-facing freelance and customer service work, which shaped how I communicate and stay organized under pressure, and I bring that same mindset to how I work with a team now. I'm looking for a fully remote, full-time junior full-stack role at a company that invests in early career developers, real mentorship, uses code review as a learning tool, and allows me room to grow into more ownership over time. I'm especially drawn to teams that use AI tools as a genuine part of their workflow rather than as a buzzword, since that's how I already work.
