Role: Social Media & Branding Coordinator

Monthly Rate: $650-1100

Availability: Part-time/Full-time -20 hours/week

Time Zone: 12-4pm ET

This is a test of how keen you are with details and how well you follow instructions. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

3️⃣ 1-Minute Introduction Video – Record a short introduction video (preferably using Loom) and provide the link in your application. Before you do, check out these video tips and sample videos. Important: By submitting your video, you grant Coconut permission to share it on our platforms to help increase your chances of being matched with a client. Videos with broken or dummy links will result in disqualification.

Requirements

Experience Needed/Responsibilities:

- Pull raw video content from Google Drive and repurpose into platform-specific assets (reels, long-form, posts)

- Upload content to YouTube; chop into short and long-form reels for Instagram and Facebook

- Create screen grabs and formatted posts for LinkedIn with platform-appropriate tone

- Write captions with strong brand voice — must land emotionally, not just grammatically (puns, humor, audience awareness)

- Occasional graphic design projects (print media, formatted assets) — brand guide with colors and fonts already provided

- Future scope: light administrative tasks (report running, general ops support)

Good to have:

- Someone who manages their own personal brand

- Genuine love for social media creation and content

Non-negotiable Requirements:

- Strong written English - captions must resonate with a high-income Northern Virginia audience. Must understand wordplay and brand humor.

- Coachable - fast uptake on feedback with visible improvement

- Proactive - anticipates next steps, brings content ideas independently

Industry/Tools Experience:

- Instagram Edits (primary), LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Google Drive | TikTok (nice-to-have)
