About the role
We seek energetic and experienced coaches to lead and facilitate online group sessions for youth. As a tapouts Coach, you will have the opportunity to create a fun, engaging, and supportive virtual environment where kids can learn and grow.
As a tapouts Coach, you will:
- Lead engaging online group sessions for youth ages 4-16 years
- Deliver educational activities and games that foster social, emotional, and educational growth
- Build positive relationships with participants and create an inclusive space
- Encourage active participation and facilitate group discussions
- Monitor and assess individual and group progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Mandatory)
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Coaching certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience working with youth in a group setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Zoom and Google Suite
- Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week to provide coaching within tapouts peak hours: Weekends (6am-8pm PT). Example schedule: Friday (12:00pm to 7:00pm), Saturdays (8am to 11am) and Sundays (6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
- A fast, reliable internet connection and a quiet working space.
- This position is remote, 100% online coaching position is a part-time independent 1099 contractor position that offers you the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
