(Y)Lead Software Engineer (Sensor)

Were looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Sensor team at Remedio.

Remedio is a profitable cyber company that leads the Device Posture Management space for enterprise organizations.

We detect and remediate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and hardening issues in real time, automatically, with instant rollback and no downtime.

After years of profitability, we raised 65 million dollars to deepen the platform into areas such as vulnerability management and to expand it with additional capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing idiomatic Golang code
• Experience with multiple programming languages
• Experience building testable code
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers, driving technical execution end to end
• Independent, an autodidact with excellent problem-solving and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies and delivering end to end solutions
• Ability to work independently and mostly remotely
• A motivated team player
• Great async written English communication skills (chatting)

Hiring Preferences:

• Experience in building cross-platform tools for Windows, Linux & Mac
• Experience in developing an agent/sensor.
• Experience with low-level programming (especially OS internals), networking or databases
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met
• Communicate effectively with other stakeholders (including those in other departments)
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project plans
