Water Workforce Education Partner - K-12 & Higher Ed (WIL Collaborator)

WIL partners with educators and institutions to build water-sector career awareness and education pathways for elementary, secondary, and postsecondary students. We are seeking education partners who can co-develop curriculum exposure, career exploration, dual-enrollment / bridge experiences, or student work-based learning tied to water careers.

What you'll do
- Represent a school district, community college, university, or education nonprofit with water-career programming capacity
- Co-design education activities (modules, camps, career days, dual credit, or lab experiences)
- Identify student populations and delivery geography
- Support partnership documentation for joint education/workforce proposals when agreed
- Advise on learning outcomes and measurement appropriate to education settings

Requirements

• Required
  - Role at a K–12 LEA, community college, university, or education nonprofit
  - Experience delivering STEM/CTE career education, water/environmental education, or work-based learning
  - Ability to discuss institutional partnership pathways
  - Willingness to engage on a time-bounded collaborator basis
  - Authorization to work with a U.S. nonprofit research organization
  
  Nice to have
  - Existing water/wastewater industry advisory relationships
  - Dual-enrollment or pre-apprenticeship bridges already operating
  - Rural, tribal, or underserved student reach
