Your Impact

As Vice President of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), you will lead Pearce's UPS business with full responsibility for its financial and operational performance nationwide. This role owns the complete P&L of UPS, including revenue growth, profitability, cost management, customer satisfaction, and service delivery across all regions, markets, and customer accounts.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership for a distributed workforce of field technicians, operational leaders, and service partners, ensuring consistent execution, operational excellence, and scalable growth across the organization. This leader will drive business performance, strengthen customer and OEM relationships, and position Pearce as a market leader in UPS infrastructure reliability and maintenance services.

What you will do

  • Own and deliver against P&L targets, including revenue growth, margin performance, and cost management
  • Lead all aspects of field service operations, including technicians, dispatch, and service partner networks
  • Assume enterprise-wide responsibility for workforce planning, operational performance, financial results, and customer satisfaction across the entire UPS business.
  • Drive operational performance across key metrics such as utilization, route efficiency,
  • first-time fix rates, and SLA attainment
  • Provide direct leadership and oversight for all UPS operations across all geographic regions, markets, and customer accounts nationwide.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to support national accounts, MSAs, and market expansion
  • Establish and execute national operating strategies that drive profitable growth, service excellence, and operational consistency across all regions.
  • Build and scale a service partner ecosystem to support growth across regions
  • Serve as executive escalation point for customer, quality, and service delivery issues
  • Accountable for the performance of all regional operations previously supported through separate regional leadership structures.
  • Develop leaders and build a high-performing, safety-first culture across a distributed workforce

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience in field service operations, UPS, power systems, battery storage or related industries
  • Direct experience with UPS infrastructure and OEM ecosystems
  • Experience owning enterprise-level operational and financial performance across a national organization, including full accountability for revenue, profitability, staffing, and customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site or nationwide service operations with responsibility for multiple regions, business units, or large-scale distributed workforces for scalable growth.
  • Deep understanding of power electronics and distribution, UPS systems, generators
  • and/or critical electrical systems
  • Deep understanding and experience managing leaders of leaders and driving performance across geographically dispersed teams including field technicians and third-party service partners
  • Experience improving operational performance metrics such as utilization, SLAs, and service efficiency
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence customers, partners, and senior leadership
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making capability
  • Experience working in a matrixed, high-growth environment
  • Experience scaling operations during periods of rapid growth or transformation
