Detailed Version
This is a freelance training engagement scoped to Kraftshala's PGP in Sales & Business Leadership - an immersive program that fast-tracks professionals into high-growth sales and leadership roles. As a Voice & Accent trainer, you will own the Voice & Accent module end-to-end: from designing the curriculum to delivering sessions to assessing individual student progress.
Specific responsibilities:
- Design a comprehensive, business-contextualized Voice & Accent curriculum from scratch, covering phonetics, pronunciation, accent neutralization, speech modulation, and fluency - tailored specifically to sales and leadership scenarios.Metrics to measure: Curriculum readiness score (reviewed by program team before batch kickoff); trainer and program team satisfaction with module depth and business relevance.
- Conduct individual speech assessments for all students at the start of the module to identify MTI patterns, pronunciation gaps, and voice modulation challenges specific to each learner. Metrics to measure: % of students assessed before Week 2; quality and specificity of personalized feedback reports delivered per student.
- Deliver live virtual training sessions (4 sessions/week, 1 hour each) across a 12-week module, maintaining consistent quality and student engagement throughout. Metrics to measure: Session attendance rate; student engagement and satisfaction scores collected post each module; on-time delivery of all sessions.
- Provide personalized coaching and feedback using business-relevant exercises - mock client calls, negotiation dialogues, and leadership presentations - to make training directly applicable to students' future roles. Metrics to measure: Individual improvement in phonetic benchmarks from Week 1 to Week 12; student self-reported confidence scores at module close.
- Conduct a final comprehensive assessment comparing initial and final speech recordings, identifying residual MTI, and delivering a personalized improvement plan for each student. Metrics to measure: % of students showing measurable improvement on defined speech benchmarks; completion rate of individual action plans.
- Iterate and improve the curriculum based on batch feedback, student performance data, and evolving program needs after each cohort. Metrics to measure: Curriculum improvement rating from program team across batches; student NPS for the module.
Must-Haves:
- 3–5+ years of experience in Voice & Accent Training, ideally in corporate, BPO/ITES, or professional communication settings.
- Demonstrated experience designing training modules from scratch — not just delivering pre-built content.
- Strong technical grounding in phonetics, IPA, and accent neutralization techniques.
- Comfortable with virtual delivery (Zoom/Google Meet), with a track record of high engagement in online training environments.
Good-to-Haves:
- Prior experience working with professionals preparing for high-stakes sales or leadership roles is strongly preferred.
- CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent phonetics certification is a plus.
