Job Summary

Are you a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) passionate about providing exceptional care in a virtual setting? Join our team at Brightli, where you’ll work in outpatient psychiatry, addiction, and housing services, supporting clients in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder programs.
 

As a Virtual Clinic LPN, you’ll administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and build strong relationships with clients and clinical staff. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment while ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications via oral, injection, self-administration, and other methods according to service line requirements.

  • Perform physical and mental health assessments, including psychiatric screenings, in line with service needs.

  • Document medication administration and assessments accurately, adhering to clinical standards.

  • Conduct medication reviews, monitor stock and refills, and prepare pass medications for clients as needed.

  • Assist clients with medication-related questions, staging refill requests for providers per operating procedures.

  • Room clients and complete preliminary medical data collection (e.g., blood draw, vital signs, height, weight).

  • Ensure timely completion of required documentation, including client safety plans and nursing-led educational groups.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical and medication records; perform general lab and phlebotomy duties as required.

  • Oversee infectious disease control, client hygiene, and health issues under nursing leadership guidance.

  • Participate in required meetings and perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
     

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
     

Additional Qualifications

  • Proficient in accurately recording and managing data in written and electronic formats.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and respectfully.

  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information securely.

  • Adept at reading and interpreting clinical documents and electronic health records.

  • Competent in basic mathematical calculations for medication administration and reporting.

  • Problem-solving abilities with the capacity to adapt to new challenges.

  • Demonstrates collaboration, willingness to learn, and embraces diverse perspectives.
