Virtual Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist

LETS Therapy is seeking a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide virtual school-based services for Pennsylvania students in grades 5 through 10. Several referrals are available, from monthly consultation to weekly 30 or 60-minute sessions. We will work with you to identify cases that are appropriate for virtual delivery and fit your schedule.

Build Work Around Your Life
Already working full time or balancing another position? That is not a problem. Virtual sessions may be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., based on each student’s availability. You can take one case, several cases, or build a larger caseload. We will work with you to find a schedule that is realistic and sustainable.

What You Will Do

• Provide virtual orientation and mobility instruction and consultation required by student IEPs.
• Support safe travel concepts, spatial awareness, environmental understanding, and self-advocacy.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and vision support professionals.
• Determine which goals and activities can be addressed appropriately through virtual services.
• Complete service notes and progress documentation accurately and on time.

What You Will Need

• Current Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist credential.
• Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal Background, and FBI clearances.
• Experience supporting school-aged students who are blind or visually impaired.
• Strong virtual communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Compensation and Engagement

• Up to $66 per hour, based on qualifications and assignment.
• Independent contractor opportunity with compensation processed monthly.
• Flexible case selection based on provider and student availability.
