Living in a Bubble makes premium campervan, van life and RV accessories, sold direct through Shopify and on Amazon across Australia, the US, Canada and Germany. Our products are physical and vehicle-specific, so video is how a customer works out whether something fits their build before they buy.

This is a part-time contractor role, 20 hours a week, fully remote. Marketing is a small in-house team, so your edits go live fast and you get to see what they did.

You report to our Marketing Manager, who sets your weekly priorities. Requests will also come to you from our Social Media Manager and our Paid Ads Manager. When those pull in different directions, the Marketing Manager decides the order — you won't be left to referee it.

What you'll actually do

Social and organic short-form

  • Cut Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts from raw shoot footage.
  • Turn a single shoot day into a batch of posts rather than one hero cut.
  • Re-cut creator, customer and community footage into brand-channel posts, matching pace and audio across sources of very different quality.
  • Deliver on a repeating weekly publishing cadence, not ad hoc.
  • Keep an organised library of selects, B-roll, install footage and reusable graphic elements, so the next edit doesn't start from scratch.

Paid ad creative

  • Build multiple hook, angle and length variants from one shoot against the media brief, for Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Create new openings onto proven videos through hook-swap and intro testing, so a winning ad keeps earning without a re-shoot.
  • Re-cut against performance data we supply: retire what's losing, extend and iterate on what's working, and keep a clear record of what changed between versions.
  • Deliver to platform spec every time — aspect ratios, safe zones for UI overlays, burned-in captions, sound-off legibility, and file specs that pass ad review on the first upload.

Product and launch content

  • Produce video to Shopify and Amazon spec, including per-marketplace duration and aspect requirements.
  • Cut install and how-to tutorials a customer can follow on a phone in a driveway: clear steps, legible on-screen text, no ambiguity about fitment.
  • Build looping video for email and landing pages.
  • Deliver the video set for a product launch — teasers, launch reels, install video, launch ads — to the launch brief, then re-cut fast in the first week based on early performance.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Strong Premiere Pro (or similar): multicam, proxies, nested sequences, clean project hygiene someone else can pick up.
  • Colour correction that holds up across mixed cameras and mixed lighting from the same shoot.
  • Sound and captions: music selection, levels, dialogue clean-up, burned-in subtitles.
  • On-screen text and simple graphic treatments — titles, callouts, product annotation.
  • Vertical-first instinct. You frame, crop and pace for 9:16 by default, not as an afterthought.
  • Comfortable working from raw, unstructured shoot footage.
  • Your own editing machine, licensed software and a stable internet connection.
  • At least three hours a day overlapping 9am to 6pm Philippine time, and available for the heavier weeks around launches and sales.

Nice to have

  • After Effects motion graphics — tracking, animated callouts, more involved product annotation.
  • 4WD, van life, camping or outdoor category experience.
  • Direct-response or performance-creative background.
  • Basic on-camera or shooting capability for pick-ups and inserts.
  • Experience editing UGC and creator content while holding consistent brand quality.

About the hours

This is 20 hours a week and we've scoped the work to fit. Expect a steady weekly rhythm of short-form and ad edits, with heavier weeks around a product launch or a sale. We're not asking one person to also produce brand films or broadcast pieces — we commission those separately.

How it works

A short application, a recorded video interview you complete in your own time, a practical test task, then a call with the Marketing Manager.
