Video Editor - Contractor

About the Role
Netchex is looking for a skilled Video Editing Contractor to support our Content/Brand team over a 3-month engagement. You'll turn raw recordings and creative briefs into polished, on-brand video content across podcasts, webinars, social clips, and short-form storytelling. This is a great fit for a detail-oriented editor who thrives on variety and can move fluidly between long-form and quick-turnaround projects.

What You Will Do

• Edit podcast recordings (approx. 2/month) for pacing, clarity, and audio quality
• Produce short video clips (3-4/month) including audio cleanup, intros/closings, and subtitling
• Edit webinar recordings (approx. 2/month) into polished final assets
• Create animated videos on an ad-hoc basis
• Produce news-style short-form videos (2x during the engagement)
• Build product explainer videos (1x, with possible ad-hoc requests)

What You'll Need

• Proven experience editing video and audio content, ideally across podcast, webinar, and social formats
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and brand consistency
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and meet recurring monthly deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and asynchronously with a remote, US-based team
