Position Overview
iRESTORE is seeking a Video Editor to produce high-performing video ads and digital assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms. We’re looking for someone with strong editing skills, sharp storytelling instincts, and a clear understanding of how hooks, pacing, messaging, and visual structure influence performance. The right candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable turning briefs, raw footage, creator content, and product assets into polished, platform-native videos. This is a hands-on production role for someone who can create multiple cuts and iterations, respond quickly to performance insights, and maintain a high standard of quality at speed. This role report to the Manager, Performance Creative and collaborates closely with designers, copywriters, and Growth Marketing partners.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop visually stunning and impactful video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Conceptualize and storyboard video projects, ensuring a clear and compelling narrative that resonates with the target audience.
- Shoot high-quality video footage using professional equipment, demonstrating a strong understanding of composition, lighting, and audio.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, employing creative storytelling techniques and utilizing video editing software to enhance visual effects, transitions, and sound.
- Optimize videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations, while adhering to specific technical requirements and formats.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to videography, video editing, and design, incorporating new ideas and approaches into our video content.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that video content aligns with overall marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and marketers to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all channels.
- Manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, ensuring their proper functioning and availability for shoots.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in design, film production, multimedia, or a related creative field is preferred.
- 4+ years experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio or examples of work demonstrating exceptional video production and editing skills.
- Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, with a deep understanding of video editing techniques and best practices.
- Expertise in shooting and capturing high-quality video footage, including proficiency with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Solid understanding of design principles, including composition, color theory, typography, and branding.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging narratives through visual content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in videography, video editing, and design.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all video content is visually appealing, error-free, and consistent with brand guidelines.
