Position Overview

We are expanding our virtual team and looking for organized, customer-focused individuals who enjoy researching destinations, coordinating details, and helping others prepare for memorable vacations.

As a Travel Planning Specialist, you will work with clients to understand their vacation preferences and identify experiences that match their interests, travel dates, and budget. You may assist with resort stays, cruises, family vacations, romantic getaways, tours, group trips, and international destinations.

Previous travel industry experience is not required. Training, certification opportunities, supplier education, and continued professional support are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with clients to learn about their vacation goals, preferred destinations, dates, and budget
  • Research hotels, resorts, cruises, transportation, tours, activities, and vacation packages
  • Compare available options and prepare recommendations based on individual client needs
  • Assist with coordinating selected accommodations, transportation, excursions, and other services
  • Provide clear information regarding reservation details, destination options, and available promotions
  • Process and organize arrangements through approved supplier resources
  • Review confirmations and itinerary information for accuracy
  • Keep clients informed about important trip details, deadlines, and updates
  • Respond to planning questions and assist with routine reservation requests
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and arrangements
  • Communicate professionally through phone, email, messaging, and virtual platforms
  • Continue learning about destinations, supplier programs, and new vacation opportunities
  • Provide attentive service that supports positive client relationships

Qualifications

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are organized and attentive to details
  • Can research and compare information effectively
  • Manage their time and responsibilities independently
  • Are comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Have basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Are willing to learn new systems and booking resources
  • Are dependable, motivated, and receptive to training
  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Reside in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Australia, Mexico, or another qualifying region
