About the Role

Overview: Serve as an integrated member of a specialized security and protective services detail to provide exceptional childcare, administrative support, and travel-related care for a high-profile family. Work remotely from home when the family is at primary residence and transition to full-time active duty during domestic and international travel.

• Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for child(ren) during all travel engagements.
• Maintain consistency in routines, sleep schedules, and educational/play activities while away from home.
• Manage packing, organization, and inventory of children’s travel gear, clothing, and essential items.
• Plan and facilitate engaging, destination-appropriate activities, outings, and downtime tailored to the family's schedule.
• Serve as a liaison between the family and the primary security detail and integrate smoothly into the EP team.
• Maintain strict situational awareness in public environments, transit hubs, hotels, and private venues.
• Adhere to established security protocols, travel routes, emergency action plans, and access controls set by the Protection Lead.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion regarding family logistics, travel schedules, locations, and personal matters.
• Coordinate travel logistics for the children (dietary needs, equipment setup, local medical resources).
• Participate in pre-trip briefings with the security team to review itineraries, safety protocols, and operational expectations.
• Submit timely travel expense reports and documentation following corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional nanny, private household, or specialized childcare experience.

• Ability to work remotely from a home base and transition to full-time travel status during trips; ability to deploy on short notice and remain on travel status for extended periods.

• Valid passport with no restrictions on international travel.

• Active CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (Infant/Pediatric).

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation (including criminal history, driving record, and drug screening) prior to start date.

• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• Calm demeanor under pressure with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced travel settings.

• Strong situational awareness and ability to follow security protocols and emergency action plans.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate into a security-minded team environment.

• Experience managing children's packing, travel logistics, routines, and planning appropriate activities for travel contexts.

• Active CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (Infant/Pediatric).

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Valid passport with no restrictions on international travel.

• Successful completion of comprehensive background investigation (criminal history, driving record, and drug screening) and agreement to NDAs as condition of hire.
