WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role evaluates organ and tissue donor referrals in accordance with LNH, OPTN/UNOS, AOPO, CDC, and other regulatory guidelines to ensure timely allocation and maximize donor utilization. It conducts comprehensive donor evaluations-including medical and social history review, hemodynamic assessment, physiological management, and identification of clinical and behavioral risk factors-while maintaining expertise in brain-death pathophysiology. The position also manages the full donation process by preserving organs and tissues to national standards, coordinating all logistics and communication with transplant centers and hospital teams, supporting next-of-kin with compassion, and completing accurate and confidential EMR documentation. Additionally, it provides mentorship and training to new staff, modeling advanced clinical practice, professional conduct, strong communication, ethical decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 2 years critical care experience in either Medical, Surgical Trauma, Thoracic Cardiovascular, Cardiac, Pediatric or ER
• 2 years clinical experience as a RN
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid RN License - Active and in good standing with the issuing state board of nursing. Must be maintained throughout tenure in position

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
